Truly Smiling

Sometimes you get upset with some things. What do you do then? Some people choose to smile and try to hide what's within, some people act like nothing has ever happened but inside they are crying, some people just shout out, or cry, some people listen to music that suits their feeling, others listen to music that is contrary to what they are feeling, some people express it through words, art, music or other forms of expression. Whatever it is...... what you choose to do could really affect how you feel afterwards......

So people who try to smile and or try to hide whatever's within without releasing it could feel very sad because they have not let it out. A smile is a facial expression formed by flexing the muscles near both ends of the mouth. ( Well that is what Wikipedia says). But a smile is more complicated than that. A smile can hide many things, some people think. But is it true? Some people try to hide sad emotions and try to smile through it, but does it really work? After all that smiling in front of people, they still have that feeling in their heart. So does smiling really help? A smile that is not genuine is just like changing the outer cover of a pen. The outside may look like a red pen, but inside it is still blue ink and when written on a piece of paper, it is still blue writing.

The feeling is still there inside, nothing much has changed.

So what should you do? Well express it. With words, art or music. You can go tell someone close or just go cry it out. The thing is, after you cry, wipe your tears and move on, face it! The problem won't go away with you just hiding it inside. You have to face it. No matter what it is, there is always a bright side. When you are lost in that a dark cave, there is always a ray of light that will lead you out. When you are lost in the forest, there are always stars to guide you. The thing is you have to face the problem instead of running away or hiding it inside. Face it, beat it and get over it. After that you can come out really smiling because you have gotten over it, then my friends, you can really smile. =) By the way, friends play a vital role in this, if you have good friends it will really help you. But you have to face the problem yourself. Your friends can't face the problem for you. You have to do it yourself. When you go through a bad experience, you can come out truly smiling because you have learnt something from it.

So, face the problem and get over it. Don't let it hold you. Face it, beat it and get over it. And come out smiling with a genuine smile, knowing you have won. =)

Two Is Better Than One

I was inspired by a post of a friend of mine of the same topic. Well, two is better than one. when we say two is better than one, a lot of us think about the song. It's a nice song by Boys Like Girls featuring Taylor Swift. Well the topic here is not about the song. Well maybe it has something to do about the song......

Is two really better than one?? Well, I don't know. For some two is better than one. For some, no. Well personally I think two is better than one. Well u gt the meaning. But sometimes, u may think two is better than one but haih...... I just can't explain what I want to say here, it's a complicated matter. I used to be love drunk, but now I'm hungover...... No, I'm not combining songs here, don't worry.

Back to the question, is two really better than one? It's a matter of looking at it from different perspectives. In those times that you feel lonely, yeah u think two is better than one...... When you're in love u think yeah, two is definitely better than one. But during the times where you're in a heartbreak u think otherwise. You think well it's better to be single because your looking at the matter with a different point of view. When people see things from different perspectives, the things they see are different.

So maybe it's true,

That I can't live without you,

And maybe two is better than one

There's so much time

To figure out the rest of my life

And you've already got me coming undone

And I'm thinking two is better than one.

The Piano

Hello people! This post is the thought of a great musician I know. Now I shall give you a brief introduction about the piano.

Well, to many people, the piano is their musical instrument of choice. It has a brilliant sound and is a very versatile instrument. You can play almost anything on the piano. Well, for you people who like and play pianos, this is for you.

OK then, before I start I stress that this is only a brief intro on the piano, for those of you who do not want to go through the thousands and thousands of words. For further info, you can go to sites like wikipedia or search the net. Because this is a brief intro, I would not go into complex elements such as tuning or physics and things like that.

Well there are two kinds of piano (basically), one is the Grand Piano as shown in the picture above and the other is the Upright Piano which most pianists have at home. The standard piano has three pedals which are the soft pedal, the mute or practice pedal and the sustain pedal. The piano produces its sound as the "hammers" hit the strings inside the piano that produce definite sounding notes. Pianist either play by sight (sight-reading) or by ear or well, both.

The piano took a road of evolution before it became the piano it is today. It started of s the Dulcimer, then the Clavichord appeared, then a few appeared before the Harpsichord, later after a few more evolutions the piano appeared. Just for your information, pianos those days were plucked or lifted instead of hit. (Correct me if I am wrong).

After the centuries of piano evolution, today we have many variations of the piano that today, can produce sound of many kinds. Although I would not really consider them as pianos, they are played by keys so maybe they can be considered as pianos but anyway, modern pianos of today include the keyboard (digital piano some call them), the synthesizer or synth which is commonly used in modern music especially genres like pop, R&B and the list goes on. The synthesizer by the way isn't really a piano, it is a sound producer with keys to decide which note you want the sound to be played on. Well thats my brief intro on the piano. Hello people, firstly I hereby declare that I ain't gonna fall in love with a girl in 5 yrs. Like it or not thats that!! LOL......Well thats not the topic here......I used to be love drunk, and now I'm heading for a heart heart heartbreak whatever, still, that's not my topic here.

Secondly, If you have anything u want me to write about you can tell me in the form of a comment or just tell me however.

OK, lets enter the topic. Well......um......what is the topic?? I don't know. I'm just blogging for the sake of it. Oh, OK. So it's Chinese New Year. Well, happy CNY people. So here I am in the year of 2011. PMR this year. Still, boring. I wake up, wash up, go to school, co-curricular activities, come back, do some stuff (Facebook), homework, other stuff, sleep n its another day. OK, now what do I write????? Hm......

OK, I ain't talking about life anymore. I've written too many posts about it. So people, it would really help if you guys could give me a topic to write on because I really don't know what to write about.

I really want to write but I can't......No topic. So please give me a topic to write on people. Thanks for reading anyway. Thats that for now.
